Support Pumpkin's Journey to a Loving Home

Pumpkin was found by a kind redditor on September 18, seemingly abandoned and frightened in a local park.

My wife and I set out on a mission and located the little guy, still in the same spot nearly six hours later. He was terrified - he has no interest in the usual kitty bribe of puree, and had a visible injury to the back of his left ear.

A gentle nudge got him into a crate, and we brought him directly to a local emergency vet.

Pumpkin has ear mites, a minor upper respiratory infection and needs to be neutered. This brings the bill to around $1300; we’re happy to help care for him, but so many people have offered to assist that I decided to open this page to keep it easy.

He is a sweet, young kitty who deserves a loving forever home, and we want to help prepare

him for that and get him the care he needs. If you are able to assist, we - and Pumpkin- truly appreciate it.

Any donations exceeding the bill total will assist with costs of us fostering Pumpkin in the interim, including necessary follow up vet appointments.

He will be on a several medications for the next two weeks and will require follow up visits to ensure he is give a clear bill of health.
