Hello friends! I appreciate all of the kind words people have sent my way in regards of my father’s passing. During this time, I thought deeply about what I can do to honor my father. In his honor, I wanted to donate to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. In spring 2024, my father was misdiagnosed with emphysema, and placed on supplemental oxygen. After a year of fighting for answers, in spring of 2025, my father was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. Pulmonary fibrosis is a harsh disease, which hardens the lung tissue, making it harder to breathe and absorb oxygen. Usually individuals diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis have 3-5 years, and there is no cure.

Even in this dark time, I wanted to help others with this disease and fight for a cure.

So, I decided to launch this fundraiser to support the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Their unwavering commitment to accelerating treatment development and providing crucial support for patients and families is something that resonates deeply with me.
