Support Pudgie’s Heart & Liver Testing & Treatment

Hi everyone, this is Pudgie. Pudgie is my sweet 10 year old (almost 11 y.o.) senior dog, and he’s also my best friend. I have had him since birth.

When he was young, he was diagnosed with a heart murmur, and now in his old age, it is causing him some mobility issues. He has issues standing when he overexerts himself/ gets too excited, and a bit of a wobble when he walks sometimes. After taking him to the vet, he got some X-Rays done, and the vet took a look at the scans, and he found that his heart is slightly enlarged, and his liver is quite enlarged. The vet recommended that with his symptoms of occasional falls and wobbly-ness, that he begin taking heart medication right away, get bloodwork done, and potentially if the meds do not work, he may need to see a cardiologist. I was able to put down about $400 which covered his consult, X-rays and medication, but unfortunately I was unable to get him bloodwork at this time, which is concerning especially because we don’t have much information as to what’s causing the enlarged liver, and it would also help confirm that the heart issues he’s having are in fact due to his underlying heart murmur. I am asking for $1500 which will cover the bloodwork, a few months supply of his heart medication, follow-up consult and X-rays, + other medical expenses as I discover more about his condition with each check up. By donating, you would first and foremost be contributing to greatly improving Pudgie’s health and well-being, as well as helping a recently graduated college student, working 3 jobs, who still can’t afford a vet visit, take care of her furry friend.
