We are excited to share our not-for-profit launch appeal on GoFundMe!
The Public Sector Change Practitioners (PSCP) has grown from a true grassroots passion idea to a vibrant community of practice devoted to change management in the public sector. From the conceptual stage in late 2017 to the fast-moving small but mighty stage in late 2024, the PSCP has delivered over thirty-five (35) high-impact webinars on change management topics facing public sector employees and supporting consultants. Like you!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
For the past seven (7) years, the PSCP has been running on the pocketbook and significant dedication of its founders, board members, and friends. We have grown to a stage where we are not able to continue or grow our service without a small bit of help from our community.
WHY WE NEED HELP
The PSCP is preparing its application for 501c(3) not-for-profit organization status with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. This will permit the PSCP to package and publish valuable content available to practitioners for a small fee or donation basis. These modest fees will support ongoing PSCP activities and, importantly, a greater range of content, webinars, and other public sector change-focused deliverables.
HOW WE WILL USE THE HELP
There are numerous initial hurdles to qualify for not-for-profit organization status. These include establishing state-level articles of incorporation, a dedicated business address, evaluation of risk and liability insurance, etc. YOU can help us with these hurdles, with a small donation that enables the PSCP to operate as a formal not-for-profit. With modest tax-deductible donations, it will enable us to blossom more brightly for you all year round!
WHAT HELP DO WE NEED
Our goal is to raise $2,500 to establish our not-for-profit status and offer a special thank you to our GoFundMe contributors with our first publication of the Best of PSCP Webinars, Founders Edition. We’d like to conclude our campaign by March 2025, just in time for Spring!
