PixelSat I is a student-developed 3U CubeSat mission designed to test the viability of additively manufactured structures and commercial electronics in space. The project explores whether low-cost hardware can operate reliably in orbit and whether 3D-printed polymers can function as structural elements in the space environment.

Our primary objective is a technological demonstration: verify that a 3D-printed CubeSat frame and consumer imaging, computing, and power components can survive launch, maintain functionality in low Earth orbit, and perform a basic mission task. The core success criterion is capturing and transmitting at least one image of our official school mascot against Earth, confirming full system functionality in orbit.

As an independent student-led team, we don't have institutional funding, despite our innovative cost cutting. Any donation, big or small, would truly help us reach our goals!
