Help Keep PrisonPOD Productions Alive

Every day, thousands of people living behind prison walls struggle with hopelessness, loneliness, trauma, addiction, and the uncertainty of what their future will hold. Many have never had someone believe in them or tell them they still have value.

That is why I created PrisonPOD Productions.

PrisonPOD is more than a podcast—it is a lifeline. Through honest conversations, educational programming, and stories of hope, we reach people who are incarcerated, their families, and the professionals who work alongside them. Our mission is simple:
Save Lives. Restore Hope. Reduce Suffering and Recidivism.

Today, the PrisonPOD is available on prison tablets across the United States, reaching more than one million incarcerated learners. Every episode is created with one purpose: to help someone believe that change is possible.

We talk about topics that many people avoid—trauma, addiction, mental health, recovery, reentry, family relationships, personal responsibility, education, and the challenges of rebuilding a life after incarceration. We interview people who have lived these experiences, experts who provide practical guidance, and organizations that offer real opportunities for success.

For me, this work is deeply personal.

I have dedicated decades of my life to advocating for people impacted by incarceration. My work has taken me inside jails and prisons, where I have listened to stories of pain, resilience, regret, and hope. Those experiences changed me forever. I came to understand that while people must be held accountable for their actions, they should never lose the opportunity to grow, heal, and become productive members of their communities.

PrisonPOD became my way of reaching people I could never meet in person. Every episode is an opportunity to encourage someone who feels forgotten, to educate a family searching for answers, or to provide resources that may help someone successfully return home.

But producing this work is not free.

Your donation helps cover the costs of recording, editing, hosting, distribution, equipment, software, website services, outreach, travel, and making these life-changing conversations available to those who need them most.

When you support PrisonPOD Productions, you are not simply funding a podcast.

You are helping someone discover hope instead of despair.
You are helping families reconnect.
You are supporting education instead of isolation.
You are investing in safer communities by giving people the tools to successfully return home.

Every contribution—large or small—makes a difference. Whether you donate once, become a recurring supporter, or simply share our mission with others, you become part of a community that believes every person deserves the opportunity to learn, heal, and build a better future.

Thank you for believing in this mission and for helping PrisonPOD Productions continue to reach the people who need it most. Together, we can save lives, restore hope, and create lasting change—one conversation at a time.
