My name is Amanda Savulski, and I’m the co-owner of Soul Fighters HQ. Our gym isn’t just a place to train — it’s a family. With that in mind, we have created this GoFund me.

On Monday night, one of our SFHQ family members, Priscilla Garay and her husband Rafael Garay were involved in a serious car accident. A drunk driver struck their vehicle at high speed.

They were transported to the hospital by helicopter and required immediate surgery. Priscilla suffered fractures in both legs and has already undergone successful operations. Her husband also required severe surgery following the crash and was admitted into the ICU, though he has since been transferred out of intensive care. Thankfully, both procedures went well, and they are now beginning what will be a long road to recovery.

They do not have health insurance and will both be unable to work for an extended period of time. In addition to mounting medical and legal bills, they will face significant financial strain while focusing on healing.

She has been an important part of our Jiu Jitsu community, capturing special moments at the Jiu Jitsu gyms through her photography and talent.

Now it’s our turn to support them.
