Hello,

My name is Mekayla Martin, the daughter of Prince A Martin, III, and my family and I are trying to raise donations for my grandparents, Prince and Frances Martin, Jr. They were hit by a reckless driver traveling on a two-way highway on June 8th. Their car was totaled, and they suffered severe injuries and had to be rushed to the hospital.

My Grandfather suffered 3 fractured ribs, cuts & bruises while my Grandmother suffered a broken pinky finger, a fractured kneecap & tibia in her leg, and a fractured hip bone. Thankfully and miraculously, they are still with us and both are home now!

My Grandfather is mobile with occasional leg pain, while my Grandmother needs the assistance of a wheelchair to help her get around while she is healing and regaining her strength. Her goal is to walk again! Going forward, they both have numerous doctor's appointments and rehab sessions.

My family is seeking support to help care for them and their household during this difficult time. We need help providing meals, covering their monthly household and medical bills, and financing transportation and home maintenance. We also need assistance in acquiring them a new car so that they can continue to meet their daily transportation needs.

Prince and Frances Martin, Jr, are beloved members of their community and dedicated church pastors at The Living Word Assembly. They are faithful servants of God, loving grandparents to me and my two siblings, and a constant source of wisdom and guidance in my life. My grandparents have never missed a family gathering, and are always here for important celebrations and milestones. I am grateful that they are still with us, in good health, and can continue to be present and support our family.
