On October 26th, Precious Alakija suffered a massive cardiac event on the night of her son Kamsi's birthday. Precious went to sleep and suffered a cardiac event during that time. Kamsi did everything he could to help, even attempting CPR. A friend who came around called 911. She was taken to the ER in Needham. She suffered two additional cardiac events and was eventually med flighted to Boston where she underwent cardiac surgery. She has a long road to recovery and will need to lean on our community for support.

Precious is a widow, as her husband died of cancer in 2016. She is also a single mother to Kamsi (8th grade at St. Sebastian's) and Kosi (1st grade at St. Joe's). The Alakija family has no surrounding family in the United States. We are her family. Let's show up for Precious, Kamsi and Kosi and help support them in their time of need. Their home is filled with mold and they cannot return to it. Please reach out if anyone has any leads on a more suitable housing option.
