Diana Lee is my beloved grandma who played a big part in helping raise me, and now she’s facing the toughest battle of her life. On Thursday night, she was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer, and by Saturday she was in emergency surgery to remove part of her colon. The doctors discovered that the cancer had already spread to her liver and abdominal wall, and they weren’t able to remove all of it. Despite the difficult news, Diana Lee’s spirit remains strong—she is a true fighter, and our family is determined to support her every step of the way.

The road ahead will be challenging. Diana Lee will need rehab care and ongoing chemotherapy, and there will be frequent trips to see doctors and specialists. My papaw is by her side, but they will need help with medical bills, travel expenses, and making sure they have enough food during this time. Every little bit of support can help ease their burden and allow them to focus on what matters most: Diana Lee’s health and comfort.
