Her journey began with a sudden decline in health—persistent pain, chest heaviness, and weakness—leading to an emergency hospital stay. Doctors discovered pulmonary embolisms—dangerous blood clots in her lungs and legs. After weeks of tests and uncertainty, the worst was confirmed: cancer had spread to her abdomen.

She now faces grueling chemotherapy, surgery, and lifelong treatments, all while battling the financial strain of losing her job. Her blood thinner medication alone costs $842 per month, an expense she may carry for life. The emotional and financial weight of this journey is overwhelming.
