Support Our Mom Panya In Her ICU Recovery Journey

Hello Family & Friends,

My mom recently suffered a cardiac arrest upon her arrival to Seoul for her layover to visit family in Laos. Currently, she is at International St Mary’s Hospital in Incheon, South Korea recovering. At this time, she is still unconscious, breathing through a ventilator in the ICU. My stepfather and I are in Korea hoping and waiting for her to wake up & hopefully bring her back home.

We are asking for donations to assist with her recovery as the Korean medical system generally requires payment up-front for assisted care. If you can donate or even share the Gofundme link, it is most appreciated! We will continue to provide updates as we receive them.

01/04 Update:

My mom is still unconscious and recovering in the ICU in South Korea. Due to oxygen starvation during her cardiac arrest this resulted in some brain damage. The doctors are continuing to monitor her condition and estimate that she will be in their care for at least 3 months until she can possibly fly back home.

Sharing the GoFundMe link will help spread word regarding her condition and assist with her medical bills that we foresee. Unfortunately, my mom did not have traveler’s insurance on this trip which is why we are reaching out to the community and beyond.
