Hi everyone!

My name is Pranay Khubchandani, and I’m currently a Human Physiology major at the University of Delaware. I’m on the pre-med track, with dreams of becoming an emergency medicine physician. During the Winter of 2026, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to take part in a medical outreach trip through Volunteers Around the World (VAW), a global health organization that brings basic healthcare to communities that otherwise go without. As part of this trip, I’ll be traveling to Guatemala to assist local doctors in mobile medical clinics. My responsibilities will include taking vital signs, preparing medications, recording patient histories, shadowing healthcare professionals, and most importantly, learning what it means to show up for those who are most in need.
