I’m Rachel from the US, and I have been a supporter and board member of The Pradiya Foundation for the last few years. 

In the aftermath of the August 26, 2026 flood tragedy in Northern Nepal, The Pradiya Foundation will be providing emergency support to Nepali community members. Though the children at Pradiya are safe themselves, the organization has immediately begun coordination with local police and government officials to provide medical assistance and rations to neighbors in acute need. In addition to their immediate emergency response, when dire flooding has occurred in the past, Pradiya has taken in children directly impacted, and they expect to receive any single or parentless children following this tragedy.
