With a heavy heart of sadness, I, Nargiz Sahu, share with you that I lost my Spouse Pradeep Sahu (age 49) breadwinner of my family. Pradeep was born in Odisha, India. He is a Pipe fitter by trade, has worked in many companies as a member of Local 488, and has worked for CLAC for some time. He was a hard worker and a well-known person among tradespeople.
Pradeep came to to Edmonton, Canada, in 2008 with many dreams and ambitions. Thinking this place would be a bright future for him and our family, he later brought me and our children and we settled in Edmonton. We have three children—two boys and a girl. Due to a previous accident, he could not work for the past five years, which made our lives hard in terms of finance. As we could not manage the cost of living in Edmonton, we moved to Prince George, BC, just 10 months ago.
After a long time, he finally recovered and started to work two months ago. Unfortunately, on August 14th, 2024, he was found dead in a camp room at Fort McMurry due to lung swelling, which caused internal bleeding. He doesn't have life insurance as he had health complications from the previous accident, which left our lives stranded. We are reaching out for helping hands to support our family as we need financial support for his final rituals, memorial ceremony and for our children's future.
Please share this with your friends and family.
Please contact his friends Nagaraju Ratnala (Pipe fitter) and Sushanth Kumar (Pipe Fitter) for more details.
