Support Pou’s Recovery After Brain Surgeries

Donation protected
Two weeks ago, my husband Pou was rushed to the emergency room after a CT scan revealed a large brain bleed. Less than 24 hours later, he underwent emergency brain surgery to save his life. After a week and a half in the hospital, Pou was discharged home, but things quickly took a turn for the worse. He began having seizures and his condition declined rapidly. Just three days after coming home, we had to take him back to the ER. Another CT scan showed a second, even larger brain bleed, and Pou had to have another emergency brain surgery within 24 hours to save his life again.

This has been an incredibly difficult and frightening time for our family. Pou is now facing a long road to recovery, and we are doing everything we can to support him. The medical bills are overwhelming, and Pou will need acute physical therapy rehab to regain his strength. On top of that, we have been told by doctors that our current upstairs apartment is extremely unsafe for Pou in his condition, so we need to move to a downstairs apartment as soon as possible to keep him safe.

We would appreciate any help you could give in this difficult time, no matter how small—anything helps. If you are unable to donate, we completely understand, and would just ask that you take the time to share our GoFundMe page. Your support means the world to us and will make a real difference in Pou’s recovery and our family’s future.
