Support Post-Surgery Recovery and Art Creation

Donation protected
This past week has marked a year since my mother’s death and three months since epilepsy-related brain surgery. These two situations, combined with a number of comparatively lesser factors, have caused the second lowest point of my morale.

Post-surgery depression and physical difficulties have prevented my various arts and some paths to income. Support here will raise morale, help offset lost projects, and help cover anticipated medical bills. Even small donations are going to create large feelings of mojo, which is also much needed.

I have never done a GoFundMe or any other fundraiser for myself. Empathy for others is the first cause. A few people I know personally are among those who objectively “have it worse.” Recently, two of my friends have pointed out that there’s a certain amount of comparing pain in this factor, something I make a practice of not doing. I respect their wisdom. The second cause is, honestly, getting over my own pride to ask for help.

We’re in the middle of an election season, I’m aware. Everyone is trying to make ends meet, I know. As a freelance artist, improving my morale helps me generate art and thereby smiles for the rest of my world. Donations to this GoFundMe will immediately make me smile and subsequently fund art supplies and hopefully not unexpected medical bills.

If you cannot donate, please share the link. Pride and empathy might prevent me from posting it again.
