Help Support Post Options After Devastating Fire
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, a fire broke out at Post Options Business Center, located at the corner of E. Pike St. and 12th Ave in Capitol Hill. This beloved, family-run business—operated by an incredibly kind couple—has been a quiet but essential part of our neighborhood for years.
Post Options provides critical services to countless individuals and businesses in the area, including PO boxes, passport photos, printing, copying, mailing, and more. They are known for supporting everyone—from small businesses to grassroots community efforts—with unwavering generosity.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire, but the space suffered significant smoke and water damage. Despite this, they were back outside the very next day, personally retrieving mail for customers—including ballots for next week's primary election. Their dedication and selflessness are inspiring.
The length of their closure is still unknown, and while insurance may eventually help, the immediate need is real. They may face weeks or months of lost income and mounting expenses.
Let’s come together as a community to support this small business that has supported so many of us. Your donation will help cover emergency living expenses, recovery costs, and provide a lifeline while they rebuild.
Every contribution helps. Thank you for standing with Post Options.
