Hello friends and neighbors,

On Dec. 6th, Porsha Shores, a wonderful teaching assistant at Russell Lee Elementary, was riding in an Uber when she was hit by an uninsured drunk driver. Porsha has sustained several injuries that will require MRIs to her head, neck, and back.

She has used all of her paid time off for healing and doctor’s appointments, so it’s hard trying to make ends meet with reduced paychecks for missed time. Any amount donated is greatly appreciated to help Porsha get back on her feet.

Also, the accident happened near the intersection of Harris and 32nd Street between 7:50-8:00 pm on Dec. 6th. If you have Ring cameras in that area or personally witnessed the wreck, please share any information that you have to help her file a lawsuit against the drunk driver.
