To know Pops is to love him. Our family got some unexpected news that threw us for a curveball. Pops has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. This news has come as an unexpected shock to all of us. After being hospitalized for a week, a procedure was done where he was diagnosed with this aggressive form of cancer. Now him and his wife Yolanda are facing a long and challenging road ahead.

At his age, his strength and resilience are unmatched, but the road to recovery is going to be tough. He will need to undergo several weeks of treatment at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center, with costs that are quickly adding up. Between medical bills, travel expenses, to visit and provide support, and the everyday financial needs, his wife Yolanda, our grandma, will facing a substantial financial burden.
