Hi, I am attempting to raise funds for a hefty vet bill for an upcoming amputation surgery, for our Poppy girl. She is a sweet heart, and a loving companion to our family. She has a mass on her right hind leg that the vet and surgeon told us needs to be completely amputated, and is scheduled for 3/31/2026. She is family, and we are doing everything in our power to help her. This surgery will take her pain from her leg away and hopefully prolong her time with us so she can live out a full, comfortable life. Her surgery will result in an overnight stay at the animal hospital, an ultrasound on her stomach that they couldn't do at today's appointment, and follow up appointments with the surgeon and her veterinarian, so the will be more than shown on the esimate. The ultrasound will tell them if there are any tumors in her stomach or area around it. They did perform an x-ray and withdrew some fluid from the mass to run tests and see if the mass is a cancer that could spread, or if it is localized and the amputation would take care of it completely.
