Support Poppins: Surgery for a New Start
Donation protected
A couple weeks ago, Poppins (known to some as Tilly) came into our lives. She was found dumped on the side of road, with many signs of being used for abusive breeding practices. Despite her background, Poppins has the kindest soul. We didn’t want a dog at her age to have to undergo treatment in a kennel - she deserves to be comfortable in a place she can call home.
During Poppins’ first vet visit, we discovered a large mass in her spleen. Even if benign, the pressure the mass is putting on her spleen could cause it to burst. While significant, we got the great news that there’s no sign of cancer, making it operable. She’s been scheduled to have her life-saving surgery on Thursday, March 27th.
This is where we need help! We’re pulling funds to make this possible, but unfortunately we’ll need all the money up front for the surgery. Her estimate is in the range of $2,226.82 to $4,215.22.
Surgery isn’t going to be easy, but we’re committed to making sure Poppins gets the chance at the life she deserves! She’s brought so much joy to our household. Thank you for all the support as we navigate this journey!
