Hi everyone,

I'm fundraising for my dear friend Polya, who is currently facing a serious health and financial crisis. As many of you know, Polya has been living with multiple chronic health issues which have sadly been on the decline.

Unfortunately added to this, their available avenues of income have dwindled to the point of urgently needing help covering basic living expenses—including rent, food, bills, and home care.

If you know Polya, chances are you’ve been loved, supported, or fed by them. They've spent their life caring for others—through their work in social services and counselling, and in their free time, constantly showing up for people who are struggling with whatever resources they have at hand.

Polya feels terrible asking for help like this, but regrettably things have gotten to that point. We know so many people are suffering right now, and we encourage you to continue prioritizing those facing the most severe crises—especially those impacted by genocide, war, and famine.
