Matthew Martin and Polly Morabito met in 2013 through mutual friends who encouraged them to pursue dating. At that time, Matthew was an undergraduate at IRSC completing his Bachelor's in Information Technology Management and Cybersecurity. Meanwhile, Polly was a senior student at SRHS and would later attend IRSC, too. The couple started dating in May 2014, and from then on, Matt and Polly were in love and inseparable, two peas in a pod. Those who've known them would describe the love Matt and Polly share as selfless, unconditional, and strong enough to overcome life's challenges.

On their 9-year anniversary, Matthew proposed to Polly, and they began planning their wedding day for May 25th, 2025. However, Matthew Martin's life came to an abrupt, unexpected end on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025. That is forty-seven days before their wedding day. Matthew was a young, healthy, intelligent, and outstanding citizen of Vero Beach with so much life and potential blossoming ahead of him. He will be missed severely by our community, the local archery club, his coworkers, and his friends. Matthew's life is remembered and carried on by his surviving fiancée, Polly Morabito, with their dog Joji and cat Sisko, as well as both their families.
