Jonathan "Polky" Polkinghorn was diagnosed in 2016 with Wegener's Disease (GPA), a rare and incurable autoimmune condition. While it can't be cured, it can be treated, and in 2018, thanks to your incredible support, Polky received his first adult stem cell treatment. This treatment saved his life.

In 2022, his community and friends came together for his second stem cell treatment.

Now, he needs your help again.

Polky is preparing for his third treatment at the Stem Cell Institute of Panama and this next round is critical for managing his condition and giving him the best possible quality of life.

We’re raising funds to help cover the cost of this treatment, and every dollar counts. Whether it’s $5 or $500, your contribution directly supports Polky’s care and continued fight against this disease. Our goal is to raise $30k to cover the treatment, lodging, and travel. Depending on his medical conditions in the next few months, he anticipates having this treatment in the Fall of 2025, if not sooner. He is not in control of this timeline; his body is.
