We’re Politics & Prokofiev - a salon-style classical concert series born in NYC. Every program is crafted to spark conversation: between music and history, between artists and audiences, between the past and the present.
Launched in December 2024 by cellist Jakob Taylor and pianist Natalie Nedvetsky, Politics and Prokofiev aims to create immersive, intimate concerts that blend storytelling, letters, and bold performances from award winning artists . But behind every magical evening is a mountain of behind-the-scenes work - artist fees, venue rentals, production, and the quiet but crucial admin work that keeps it all going.
We launched this out of passion. Now we’re asking for your support to sustain it!

- Paying our extraordinary artists fairly
- Covering venue and production costs
- Supporting administrative operations
- Building toward an exciting full season next year
