My name is Brianna, and I’m the Executive Director of P’nuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary, Inc.

This sanctuary was born from heartbreak—but also from love.

Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the Raccoon were not just animals we rescued. They were family. They were innocent lives who experienced unthinkable cruelty, and in their pain, they still chose to trust us. To love us. Their resilience changed everything. They showed us that even the smallest, most overlooked souls can leave the biggest mark on our hearts.

Their loss shattered us. But in that grief, a purpose was born.

P’nuts Freedom Farm exists because of them. We built this sanctuary to honor their memory—to make sure no animal has to suffer the way they did. Every rescue we take in, every life we save, every act of kindness we offer... it all carries a piece of Peanut and Fred’s legacy. Their spirits are woven into the heart of this land.

We take in animals from all situations—neglect, abuse, abandonment, or simply souls the world has forgotten. And here, they’re never forgotten again. Every animal on this farm is deeply loved. They are family. They are safe. And they are finally home.

Right now, we are also fighting for Justice for Peanut and Fred. We will not let their stories fade away. They mattered. And they still do.

This work isn’t easy. It takes time, resources, and endless emotional strength. But we keep going—for them. For every voiceless life still waiting to be saved.
