Hi, everyone. This is Cory and Bekah, PJ’s brother and sister in law.

On Friday, May 10th, PJ was in a massive car accident. He suffered a multitude of injuries - the worst of which being a severe traumatic brain injury. While he is currently stable in the ICU, he has an extremely long road ahead of him.

When he is ready, PJ will move from the hospital to an inpatient rehabilitation center where they will work with him to regain his normal functions. He will need to relearn basic activities of daily living, like walking, talking and brushing his teeth.

This has been so much for all of us to process and we still have an incredibly long journey ahead. While it is currently unclear how long PJ will remain in the hospital or what the future with his TBI looks like, we are aware that the financial implications this will have can be insurmountable.

People have asked how they can help and they have suggested GoFundMe as an option for the financial support he needs. If you feel inclined to donate, it is unbelievably appreciated. However, just sharing his story is also extremely helpful.
