My dad PJ is one of the strongest people I know. He was supposed to meet our family at Disney for marathon weekend, but instead he was rushed to the hospital after experiencing serious heart issues. What we thought would be a short stay turned into nearly two weeks in the hospital, and he ultimately underwent open heart surgery late last week. Watching your parent go through something like this is something you’re never prepared for. PJ now has a long road to recovery ahead of him and will be out of work for at least the next two months while he heals. During this time, medical bills and everyday expenses are piling up quickly. My mom has been holding everything together—working long hours at her nursing job while still being by PJ’s side every single day. My sister, our family, and I have all stepped in wherever we can, and I’m personally doing everything possible to help support them through this. One of the biggest things helping PJ push through recovery is looking forward to watching the Patriots and hoping he gets to see another Super Bowl run. That hope has kept his spirits up during some of the hardest days. We’re incredibly grateful for any support, whether that’s a donation, sharing this page, or simply keeping PJ and our family in your thoughts as he focuses on healing. Your generosity will help cover hospital bills related to PJ’s emergency care and open heart surgery, follow-up appointments, cardiac rehab, specialist visits, prescription medications, ongoing medical supplies, lost wages while PJ is out of work, household bills, transportation costs to and from the hospital, and any unexpected medical or recovery-related expenses that arise. Thank you for being part of our support system and helping PJ focus on healing.
