Hello my name is Corina Enriquez and I am helping my brother in law setup a “Go Fund me” for his dad who is in need of our help. Any donation is very much appreciated.

On May 17, my father PJ Ahearn, was taken to the hospital in a diabetic coma, put into the Intensive Care Unit where he spent the next 3 weeks recovering from a lung infection and elevated blood sugar levels. He has since improved and was transferred to an inpatient Rehabilitation facility for further recovery. Unfortunately, his health insurance will only cover the care in hospital and has refused to cover any of the inpatient rehab recovery therapies.

PJ is a 21-year Army veteran, served in the Kosovo and Bosnian conflicts, and a father of 4 boys, and grandfather of 2. After retiring from the Army, he continued to serve the military through the Teen Center and Child Development Center, taking care of the children of active-duty service members. He loves to sing karaoke, DJ, and is an avid Pokémon GO player. He remained an active member in the community, providing music and entertainment at events, teaching teens how to DJ their own school dances, and volunteering at the community theater.

This recent event has hit our family hard, PJ missed the birth of his granddaughter, who was born the same day he was hospitalized. He needs this therapy as he is unable to walk or care for himself. We are trying all avenues to pay for this unexpected medical expense and are reaching out for support, so my father get back to Karaoke singing, Pokémon Go, serving the community he loves, and hold his granddaughter.
