Hello everyone, my name is Piper and I'm creating this to help with my dad's medical bills. As some of you may have heard, my father was admitted to the hospital over the holidays experiencing a plethora of symptoms, ultimately resulting this time in Heart failure, Kidney failure, and raised concerns regarding his diabetes and his body's ability to treat infection, resulting in septic shock reactions from sores. This all came a few days before Christmas, landing him in PCU and spending Christmas in the ICU due to critical blood sugars and hypertension they thought released still have problems getting in range. After many tests and labs over the past week, doctors are still unsure of why this flare-up was so severe and their ability to control it . This also now begins his journey on dialysis for the rest of his life, along with many medications in hopes of controlling many things that may have contributed to his conditions.This all being said, this has happened at an unfortunate time as NONE of this is covered under insurance that has yet to go into effect until 2026. By the time insurance starts covering it we are still looking at numbers unimaginable.

We are asking for any donations in efforts to help with this bill and treatments in any way, shape, or form, as it will be insane as you all can imagine, as he remains in the hospital for upwards of a few more months. And sending good vibes towards my dad (my best friend) and our family as we take on this battle in supporting a drastic change of lifestyle and functioning in a whole new way.
