On the 1st of October, 2025, Piotr Perczynski — our wonderful son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend — began his dream studies at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

A gifted young musician, he played trombone, piano, and guitar, performing in orchestras and concerts with joy and dedication. He was finally living the dream he had worked so hard for.

But just twelve days later, on the 13th of October, 2025, Piotr suffered a tragic and life-changing accident. While stepping off a commuter train on his way home from university, he slipped between the platform edge and the train. Trapped and unable to free himself, the train began to move off, crushing and cutting off both of his legs.

Thanks to a remarkable rescue effort and the tireless dedication of the medical staff, Piotr survived — but sadly both of his legs had to be amputated. In one heartbreaking moment, the life he was just beginning was shattered.

Now, Piotr faces an unimaginably difficult road ahead. He must learn to live again, adapt his home to his new needs, and find the strength to keep pursuing his dreams and passions despite the challenges.

1 października 2025r. Piotr Perczyński, nasz wspaniały syn, brat, wnuk, bratanek, kuzyn i przyjaciel, rozpoczyna wymarzone studia muzyczne na Uniwersytecie Muzycznym im.. Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie, kontynuując swoją wieloletnią pasję - naukę gry na puzonie, pianinie i gitarze. Gra w orkiestrze, bierze udział w licznych koncertach.....13 października 2025r. ulega nieszczęśliwemu, dramatycznemu w skutkach wypadkowi. Wysiadając z wagonu SKM, wpada pomiędzy peron a pociąg. Nie daje rady wydostać się z pułapki. Skład rusza, miażdżąc Piotrowi nogi. 

Po dramatycznej akcji ratunkowej i dzięki wielogodzinnemu wysiłkowi wspaniałych lekarzy Piotr na szczęście żyje. Ma jednak amputowane obydwie kończyny. ....W ciągu jednego wieczoru jego życie, w które dopiero wkracza, legło w gruzach. 

Pomóżmy Piotrowi zacząć na nowo je budować, dostosować mieszkanie do funkcjonowania z tak poważnymi ograniczeniami, nauczyć się żyć nie tylko w nowej, trudniejszej rzeczywistości, ale mimo przeszkód rozwijać pasje, realizować marzenia osobiste i artystyczne.

Prosimy o wsparcie finansowe jego siły ducha, woli walki i determinacji w dążeniu do tego, by na nowo mógł stanąć na nogach.

Le 1er octobre 2025, Piotr, notre merveilleux fils, frère, petit-fils et ami, commence les études musicales dont il rêvait à l’Université de Musique Frédéric Chopin de Varsovie, poursuivant ainsi sa passion de longue date : l’apprentissage du trombone, du piano et de la guitare. Il joue dans un orchestre et participe à de nombreux concerts… 

Le 13 octobre 2025, il est victime d’un accident dramatique. En descendant d’un wagon du train de banlieue SKM, il tombe entre le quai et le train. Il ne parvient pas à se dégager du piège. Le train redémarre, lui écrasant les jambes. Après une opération de sauvetage dramatique et grâce aux efforts de nombreuses heures de médecins extraordinaires, Piotr, heureusement, est en vie. Cependant, ses deux jambes ont dû être amputées. 

En une seule soirée, la vie qu’il commençait à peine à construire s’est effondrée. Aidons Piotr à la reconstruire, à adapter son logement à ses nouvelles conditions de vie, à apprendre à vivre avec ces lourdes limitations et, malgré les obstacles, à continuer de nourrir ses passions, à réaliser ses rêves personnels et artistiques.

Nous vous demandons un soutien financier pour sa force d’esprit, sa volonté de se battre et sa détermination à retrouver sa stabilité et son autonomie.
