Support Pilarr's Journey to Recovery

Hi Friends & Friends who Became Family :),

We are Allie and Becky, former early 2000s lululemon colleagues of the one and only Pilarr Leigh. We're reaching out with a heartfelt request for someone who has always been there for us and so many others.

If you've ever met Pilarr, you know she's a force of nature—hilarious, fiercely loving, and always ready to lend a hand or a shoulder to cry on. For years, she's worked as a counselor and caseworker, supporting folks dealing with substance abuse and homelessness. She's been the light in so many dark times, providing comfort and guidance when it was needed most for so many.

But now, Pilarr needs our help.

Pilarr underwent surgery on Monday, June 3rd to address severe central spinal stenosis from her C3-C7. For the past year, she's been dealing with symptoms that have turned her world upside down: no strength, no balance, constant falls, twitching hands, including the inability to open pills/bottles. It's been a tough journey, but she's finally found the right neurologist who diagnosed her swiftly and set her on the path to recovery.

While we're so grateful for this step forward, the reality is that Pilarr hasn't been able to work during this time. The financial strain is immense, and that's why we're starting this GoFundMe. We want to ensure that Pilarr can focus on healing without the added stress of mounting expenses.

Our goal is to raise funds to cover her living costs while she's unable to work and to help with any additional treatments she might need to aid her recovery, like acupuncture. Every little bit helps, and we know Pilarr would appreciate any support you can give—whether that's a donation or simply reaching out with a funny text or a phone call to lift her spirits.

Pilarr has given so much to so many of us. Let's rally around her and show her the love and support she deserves during this challenging time.
