Hi everyone! My name is Brenda, if you know me, you definitely know Piggy. Piggy is my best friend, my baby! She’s going to be 9 years old this year, she has always been such a healthy girl, she’s beloved by many and has so much life to her! She recently had been having some issues that we initially thought was a UTI and was treated with antibiotics. She improved temporarily but had begun to show more symptoms that lead us to believe there could be a blockage. After a few tests and imaging, the vet told me they found about 4-6 bladder stones that they felt it would be best to remove. I’ve spent the last few weeks trying to find options because the bay area prices were just way too high with estimates of over $7k.

I had hoped the surgery could wait a few more weeks while I tried to weigh my options and figure out how I could financially make it work, unfortunately Piggy is showing signs of a blockage that’s preventing her from urinating leading to high risk of infection. This sped up my timeline and she will need surgery as soon as possible.

I am not in a financial position to make it happen by myself at the moment so I’m here to ask for help. Anything helps! I was able to find an option and am asking for help in raising $2000. This would help cover the cost of bloodwork, potential x-ray, surgery, and aftercare.
