Hi, my name is Mark Parsons, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear

friend and brother, Pierre — who many of you lovingly know as Pete,

Hakeem, or Pop Pop.

On the morning of July 15th, our beloved Pierre suffered a serious

stroke that has left him hospitalized and currently undergoing intense

speech and physical therapy. This was sudden and life-altering, and

while we are beyond grateful that he survived, the road ahead will be

long and demanding — physically, emotionally, and financially.

Pierre has always been the first to show up for others — a dependable

friend, a loving father and grandfather, a cherished neighbor, and a

true source of strength and encouragement for everyone who’s known

him. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

He faces a grueling recovery process that could take months, possibly

even longer. The medical bills are mounting, and the costs of

therapies, medications, and living expenses during his rehabilitation

are overwhelming for his family. Insurance only covers so much, and

there are many additional expenses — transportation to therapy, home

modifications, and ongoing care that are not fully covered.

We are humbly asking for your help. Whether it’s $5, $50, or simply

sharing this page, every gesture makes a real difference. Your support

will go directly toward Pierre’s recovery and help ease the burden on

his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
