Support Pickles' Recovery Journey

Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Amy and my fiancé Jesse and I recently took in a puppy named Pickles. Pickles was dumped in a coworker's backyard during Hurricane Helene on the night of September 27th. She was covered in fleas and super dirty and scared. My fiancé's coworker was so lovely and bathed her, housed her, and we picked her up the next day.

Unfortunately, once we brought her home, after a few hours of energetic playing, Pickles started getting lethargic and stopped eating. She also started getting very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. We took her to the vet, and they diagnosed her with Parvovirus. They explained this disease is fatal, and so she was admitted to the hospital immediately. This was not an expense we had expected, but we just felt that we couldn't let this sweet girl down, so we decided to move forward with the hospitalization and figure out the financials later. She is coming towards the end of her medical stay, and the total is creeping up on us, and it's higher than expected. We also have to redo the entire panel of vaccines we had done the day we brought her home, so that will cost extra as well. Pickles is such a sweet, loving, jumpy, and excited little girl, and we would love to be able to bring her home and be able to financially take care of her. And she has a big brother that we support as well, and we are making sure he doesn't get sick (he's fully vaxxed, so he should be fine). Anything you can provide would be so appreciated!
