Hi everyone! My mom, Phyllis Gallegos, is in stage 5 renal failure, and is needing a transplant. Her kidney function is around 15%, and she is about to start dialysis. To get on the transplant list with KU Med, her insurance company needs an upfront payment of around $1900 for her to get situated in her program. Any donations towards this GoFundMe will go towards that cost, and any remaining proceeds will help her with transportation to the Kansas City metro area.
