Hello Everyone!
This page was created to show support for Phyllis Smith-Shelton (Mimi) as she continues to fight & prove she is tougher than cancer alongside the support from her faith, family & friends. ❤️
Mimi’s unexpected cancer diagnosis & journey began a few months ago and has included daily radiation and ongoing chemotherapy appointments which required her to take a leave of absence from her job so that she could focus her time and energy on treatment and healing.
Unfortunately, an unexpected emergency occurred last Tuesday morning (11/8/2022), and Mimi has been fully sedated & on a ventilator in the Critical Care Unit since.
We are so grateful for the ongoing support shown from family, friends and co-workers. We cannot thank you all enough for your kind words, prayers, food, hospital visits, donations and the love shown for our entire family over the past 6 days. Mimi is so lucky to have such an amazing support system surrounding her throughout this very difficult time.
