Hello everyone! As I celebrate my birthday this year (August 5th), I've decided to do something a little different. I want to give back to Phoenix Children’s Hospital as they not only saved my daughter’s life but they have continued to do so. My daughter Luna 2 years ago was diagnosed with Gastroschisis which is where her intestines were outside of her stomach in the womb and upon birth. It was extremely terrifying to learn and understand but the medical team at both Honor Health and Phoenix Children’s hospital were able to successfully place our daughter’s intestines inside her body on the day of birth. She was in Phoenix Children’s for almost 3 months and has continued follow up visits each week and GI appointments monthly. With all this, she has thrived and continues to grow beyond expectations and I have no better way than giving back in light of all of this. I am eternally grateful for my all the medical professionals at Phoenix Children’s and the care they have provided my family and I throughout the process.
So, In lieu of gifts, I’m asking for donations to support Phoenix Children's Hospital, an organization that is obviously very close to my heart. Their commitment to delivering hope and healing to children and families resonates deeply with me.
Your support helps Phoenix Children's Hospital make a difference by contributing towards efforts like:
- Providing advanced medical treatments and innovative therapies for young patients.
- Creating comforting spaces for families during difficult times.
- Supporting research and training to ensure the best care is available for all children.
Every contribution, no matter the size, plays a crucial role in helping the hospital continue its mission to stay on the leading edge of pediatric medicine. Let’s come together to celebrate life, health, and the well-being of our children. Thank you for joining me in making a positive impact this birthday!
Thank you so much!
