For those of us who are local to Saint Albans, some of you may have noticed that one of our amazing restaurants on Main Street, Vietnamese Pho Ly, was closed yesterday. This is because the owner Loan’s brother passed away unexpectedly yesterday at a very young age. The family is devastated, but the Ly family currently cannot afford to close the restaurant and all go back to Vietnam to be with their family.

After speaking to Lindsay Ly (who owns and co-runs the restaurant), I have decided to start this fundraiser in the hopes that we can donate enough money for the family to close shop for a short time and all go to be with their family during such a difficult time. Please help me in showing love to these hardworking neighbors, small business owners, and kind members of our community in this moment of hardship! Every little bit counts, thank you.
