I am a caretaker for the sweetest, smartest, and bravest 11-year-old boy, Phineas Lyman. Phineas has FOXG1 syndrome, a very rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder. Some aspects of his disorder include seizures, microcephaly, movement disorders (dystonia and chorea), hypotonia, neurogenic bowel and bladder, feeding tube, numerous daily medications, and bilateral hip dysplasia, thus requiring 24/7 care. On 10/29 he is having bilateral PAO (periacetabular osteotomy) surgery, where both side of his pelvis will be cut and reoriented to realign the growth of his hips. I am wanting to raise money for him and his family to help them through this difficult surgery and recovery time. Phineas lives with his three older sisters (ages 13, 15, and 17) and single mother, Kayla. During his surgery and recovery (approximately 4-6 weeks) Kayla is unable to work and needs help to cover the necessities of living. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
