Community fundraising to help Cathy and Phil Oliphant
Beschermde donatie
On Aug 25th, Cathy and Phil went into an urgent care because Phil has not been feeling well for the past week or so. Upon his exam they found he had an infection somewhere and lesions on his liver and pancreas. He was transferred to OU medical to be hospitalized and for further diagnostics. The team at OU has been aggressive and very thorough. They have taken a biopsy and currently waiting on the results. They did find some blood clots. He was hospitalized on IV antibiotics and pain meds. On Aug 30th Phil did get to go home and spend a lot of time with his family from Iowa. On Saturday he finished his antibiotics and since then he had been fighting a fever, chills and dizziness. He had an appointment yesterday and is still fighting some type of infection. Phil was hospitalized last night because of the fever and a 22,000 white blood cell count.
Anyone that knows Cathy and Phil knows they will give anyone their shirt off their back. They are very active at their church and in the equine world. They love to share any knowledge they can to help anyone they can.
With so much still unknown and the medical bills starting to come in as well as medication cost, we would like to help Cathy and Phil in any way we can. We all know they would do the same. Please send prayers, donations or positive thoughts their way. Anything will help towards hospital and medication cost as well as transportation for his appointments.
