Support Philly Drag Queens After Car Loss

My name is Calvin, aka Calliope, I am a drag queen based in Philadelphia. For the past 4+ years, I've had the opportunity to travel all over to perform and have been able to support myself mostly through performing. Along with my roommate Athena, we have depended on having a car to travel and make our money, especially when the Philadelphia drag scene has been scarce. We have built relationships from Baltimore to Harrisburg to New Jersey and NYC and beyond, and I've been able to have a residency in Wilkes Barre, PA for the past two years, as well as other events that we've produced together elsewhere in PA.

Recently, after my 20 year old car finally died and while I was borrowing my dads car, we were cut off by a drunk driver in Center City Philadelphia and our car was totaled. This was unavoidable and no fault was placed on me, but the repairs were simply too much to save the car. Since then, we've been without reliable transportation, and have spent a lot of money on Uber and Lyft to get to shows within the city. But we've had to make sacrifices that have caused us to struggle even more, all because we aren't able to travel outside of the city without asking for help from friends.

We're looking for help so that we can put a down payment on a used car so that we can travel to work and to gigs in and outside of Philly
