On March 17th, I was struck by a vehicle while riding my bike. After a week in the hospital and ongoing recovery, I’m healing — but slowly. Fractured ribs, limited use of my left side, and a possible shoulder surgery have kept me from the physical work that sustains my 25-year audio/video contracting business in Santa Barbara. I’m a longtime resident, health practitioner, athlete, and someone who has always aimed to give more than I take.
Right now, I need a little help bridging a gap while I recover — roughly two months before I expect to be back on my feet and generating income again. In addition to rent and basic business overhead, I have significant out-of-pocket costs for health practitioners who are not covered by insurance, but whose care is essential and superior to any medical intervention I’ve received. Every dollar goes directly toward these needs so I can heal and return to work.
This community has meant everything to me for nearly 40 years — I don’t take your support lightly, and I intend to pay it forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
