Help support Phillip Moullet's road to recovery

Hi friends. I am Ondrea Majeski. My family and I are creating this fundraiser for my brother Phillip Moullet.

What started as a fever which turned into pneumonia and he is currently in ICU in a medically induced coma fighting for his life.

On September 9th, after 5 days of a fever and feeling dehydrated he decided to go to the urgent care. Right away he was sent to the ER, who was shocked to find out that he was even able to walk in with how low his blood Oxygen saturation levels were. If it was anybody else they probably wouldn't have made it this far. But he is the toughest person I know, and that many of us know.

After staying in the hospital with oxygen and antibiotics, unfortunately no progress was being made. The following day, Tuesday, September 10th things took a turn in the afternoon. With his blood oxygen levels continuing to drop, they made a decision to put him in a medically induced coma and put him on a ventilator. They made it clear very quickly it would be best to transfer him somewhere that was more equipped to handle his situation. Once he was stable enough, he was life-flighted to the ICU at Legacy Emanuel hospital. Almost right away it was decided he needed to be put on an ECMO machine to keep him going.

Phillip has always been relatively healthy. He's getting the best possible care he can. The doctors are still optimistic but anything can happen.

He is going to have an extremely long road ahead of him. His recovery will be a long and difficult journey, requiring extensive medical care and rehabilitation.

Our family is going to be doing everything in our power to help ease the burden of expenses so he can focus on getting back to being the brother, son, and friend we all love so much.
