Hello, my name is Jasmin Alcido and I have earned the opportunity to play and be a part of the Philippine National Women's Hockey team. Although I was born in the Philippines, I grew up in Canada where I have been playing hockey for over 12 years. And now, I have the incredible chance to represent the Philippines on the international stage.
I've poured countless years of dedication and passion into the game I love and through hard work and perseverance, I've earned a spot on the Philippine National Women's Hockey Team. This opportunity allows me to experience not only the country and its culture but also the growth of the game in a different environment. I'd have the chance to use what I have learned in and about hockey here in Canada, during my time in the Philippines to help grow the game and perform for the team. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I simply cannot pass up.
However, as with many dreams, there are financial barriers standing in my way. The costs associated with moving to the Philippines, training, travel, equipment and accommodations for national team events are substantial. That's why I'm turning to you, my community, for support. Your generous donations will directly contribute to covering the expenses required for me to participate in upcoming national team tournaments and training camps:
National Team Training: August - October
Union Womens Tournament (UAE): October 4-12, 2024

Asian Winter Games (China): February 2025
IIHF Asia and Oceania Championship (TBD): March-April 2025
South East Asian Games (Thailand): December 2025
