Kiysiah Glen Opposition Fund Update - April 2026
Additional Financial Support is needed to ensure the that the Philbrook Farms Homeowner Community has sufficiant funding to continue with an appeal against the development of Kirysiah Glen.
The application, filed with the County as “Project Name: Kirysiah Glen; Case Number PLD-2025-00087”, was approved by the Hearing Examiner. The Kirysiah Glen Action Committee was able to raise the funds necessary to proceed with an appeal.
However, is we are to continue with the appeal and bring the case to Clark County Supreme Court, the cost could be as much as $24,000 to $28,000.
While the project has been approved, our land use attorney feels that we have a strong case for appeal. However, success is not guaranteed.
To continue the appeal, we still need to raise between $10,000 and $15,000.
Are you willing to donate so we can continue our fight to ensure that this new development is built with the same standards as our current community?
Remember, the HOA will NOT be doing any assessments to cover these legal fees. All fees are being paid using homeowner donations.
Once the decision is final, all remaining proceeds will initially be returned to the HOA to pay back the initial cost of the law firm. After that, remaining proceeds will be returned to the homeowners that donated on a prorated basis.
Please continue to help if you can.
