Support Felipe Gonzalez's Fight Against Kidney Failure
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Felipe “Phil” Gonzalez, a devoted father, grandfather, and friend to so many. Phil has always been the life of the party—the guy who can bring a smile to anyone’s face with his jokes and infectious spirit. No matter the situation, he’s always been there for others, lifting them up with his warmth and humor. Now, we want to rally around him in his time of need.
Right before the holidays, Phil was diagnosed with Stage 5 Kidney Disease also known as kidney failure, a severe complication of type 2 diabetes, making everyday life incredibly challenging.
Despite his resilience and determination to stay positive, this illness has drastically impacted his daily life. Simple joys like spending time with his grandkids, running errands, or even making it through a full workday have become incredibly difficult. Phil is doing his best to continue working, but the toll on his body has forced him to take FMLA leave for medical appointments and the many days when his health simply won’t allow him to work.
We are asking for donations to help cover medical co-pays, support wage loss due to time off, and the costs associated with his children’s live donor testing as they hope to give their father the gift of a kidney. This journey is not easy, but with the support of those who love him, we know Phil can keep fighting with the same strength and humor that define him.
Every contribution, big or small, will go directly toward ensuring Phil can focus on his health without the added stress of financial hardship.
Phil has always been someone who shows up for others—now, we want to show up for him. If you’re unable to donate, we would deeply appreciate you sharing this fundraiser and keeping him in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your love, generosity, and support. Let’s help Phil get back to being the vibrant, fun-loving person we all know and love.
With gratitude,
