Help Support My Dad’s Fight Against Prostate Cancer
Our family recently received news that no one is ever prepared for: my dad has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of intraductal prostate cancer.
He has already begun hormone therapy and will be traveling to Minneapolis every three weeks for chemotherapy treatments. This will also include visits to Mayo Clinic. While we are incredibly grateful that there is a treatment plan in place, the road ahead will be long and physically demanding.
My parents will be making frequent trips for appointments, treatments, and follow-ups. Between travel, lodging, meals, gas, and time away from work, the financial strain adds up quickly. During this time, we want them focused on one thing: his health and healing, not the stress of expenses.
If you have the means to support, any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward:
• Travel to and from Minneapolis
• Lodging during treatment weeks
• Meals and related expenses
• Medical and supportive care costs
If you’re unable to give financially, your thoughts, prayers, encouragement, and sharing this page mean just as much to us.
For those of you that know Dad, he is strong, faithful, and unbelievably determined to fight this. We are standing with him every step of the way, and we’re so grateful for the community surrounding our family during this time.
As Dad recently said "I'm oddly confident and upbeat now. Gonna kick these little cancers' a**".
Thank you for your love and support.
— Jake
