Phil Achee is a good man who has spent years playing countless fundraisers and benefits for people in need. Now, Phil needs us to help him and his family stay afloat. A couple of months ago, Phil was in a serious car wreck that left him in a coma at Baptist South Hospital. He suffered damaged lungs, a crushed femur, and other severe injuries. For almost two months, Phil was kept in a coma, fighting for his life and enduring tremendous trauma.

Phil has always had a big heart, using his talent as a drummer to bring joy and support to others through country, rock, blues, and jazz music. He has no funds for his bills at this time, and his wife Lynn was also hospitalized with a heart attack around the same time. The family is facing incredibly tough circumstances. The band Alter Ego and other music friends are planning a benefit to help, but we need our fans and friends to step up as well. Phil has now been taken to Capital Hill for rehab, and it will take hard work and support to help him return to a normal state.
